She appreciates all the visitors that have been out to see her - it makes the day go by faster. Still working on her physio even though it is exhausting (should try working full time Mom!)
The view from her room is beautiful - on several occassions, she has been visited by a family of deer. One was so inquisitive, that the deer looked right into her room.
I met a new nurse that was assigned to Mom - Carol - she seems very nice and caring - it makes such a difference. I don't have to worry anymore if Mom is being taken care of like I used to.
Mom finally got all her mail - we went through it - I get to pay her bills (going to try to sneak a couple of mine in there as well - think that she will notice?) and we read all the cards that have been sent. FYI, I have taken all the cards home to put in a book for Mom - there is limited room at the hospital. So if you visit, and don't see your card, please don't be upset, Mom will be able to enjoy them when she is finally released.
