Mom has been transferred from Foothills Hospital to the Black Diamond Hospital - she was transferred out last night.
It was explained to me that they decided to send her there as there is full time physiotherapy available which she needs (maybe not wants all the time - but needs!)
I saw Mom tonight (only took 1 hour from my office to her room - which is excellent considering that I did not have a clue where I was going and was in rush hour traffic).
Her spirits were high, although she was very tired - the physiotherapist worked all morning with her today. Her room (room 430) has a really nice view of a pond and field - Mom said that she was able to watch a herd of deer play there earlier today.
The staff seem very nice and show interest in Mom, her history, and her well being. Not sure how long she will be in the hospital - I would suspect till she gets a walking cast put on.
