Then from Vulcan, I drove out to Black Diamond.
Mom is doing really well - her spirits, again, were high. However, her muscles (including her butt cheeks!) are sore. The physiotherapists have really been working with her.
Her most favorite nephew, John, and his wonderful wife, Leslie, drove all the way from Castlegar BC. Mom has a wonderful visit with both of them; and the blanket that Leslie is unbelievable (by the way, Les. - the blanket will have a wonderful home with me!)
Mom has my old laptop, so she now can play Mahjong, solitare, puzzles, and send out emails!
I met more of Mom's health care workers - very friendly and supportive of Mom.
PS - John - where is MY homemade shortbread??????
Sue, John says that maybe you could trade the blanket for some shortbread!
