I had a wonderful conversation with mom's doctor - Dr. Jablowski. This gentleman is really nice and seems to have Mom's best interest at heart.
He commented that Mom is making wonderful progress in her recovery - that was good news. And he confirmed what I suspected and tried to tell Foothills - Mom is suffering from a concussion!
Hence, when she seems disoriented, always tired, low appetite. Dr. Jablowski is going to perform some tests on Mom to see just how much of a concussion she has (didn't know there were such things) and then he will plan a course of action for her. Dr. Jablowski commmented that it could take months to recover, or she might never recover.
Once again, I am requesting that everyone keep her in their prayers regarding this. the good news is that her concussion has been recognized and now will be treated.
I got to go shopping for clothes for Mom - that was fun. Especially since that I did not have to pay for it! But Walmart has some really nice, summery clothes - now the fun part - getting Mom to try them on! I know that some of the items will be going back (I bought two sizes of each item) which means - ANOTHER SHOPPING TRIP!.
I will be visiting Mom tomorrow after work - will give you another update then.
