Mom is looking forward to returning to Vulcan, the lodge, and all her friends. She has an appointment with the surgeon on May 7th 2015 - it will be determined if she can be put in a walking cast. If that is the case, homeward bound she will be! I am so very proud of all that Mom has accomplished - it would not have happened without your thoughts and prayers.
Black Diamond is actually a beautiful little town - you get a homey welcomey feeling when you are there - not sure that did not help with Mom's recovery.
Sue time for an update on things. We talked to your mom the other day. She was tired, but happy. That was the day she went to the birthday party! She mentioned again, that people wanted her blanket. I am so glad that such a simple thing can bring her joy. How is it going with the concussion? Time for me to finish off the baby quilt for my new grandson. Love you! Xoxoxoxo
